This review is about the realty shows that are growing in demand in TV. It is about a realty show in Telugu TV channel. It is "AATA" started to provide platform for dancers and new dance directors. This programme started to encourage new talents and provide them opportunity and recognition.
It is completed three series successfully. While the first three series' participants are teenagers and above. Through this show the participants are expected to master the dancing skills for different themes of dance.
But, recent show is designed for Kids. and this is good in one way to encourage kids to perform their talents. At the same time it should not spoil the kids minds. As far as the kids are concerned, they can be expected to perform patriotic, classical, friendship, religious, customs, etc. but, in no way they should be allowed to compete for item songs. The way they dress, the songs, meanings, expressions, vulgar steps, and also the songs are combination of duets. It is our misfortune that kids are allowed to participate and perform for item songs and duets. Parents should wake up and think in what direction their encouragement to children is going. Also TV channels should not come out this type of themes. Because of kids are expected to participate for competitions in realty shows, they practice the songs with co dancers many times. what happens if the songs are indecent and its meaning and expressions influence the tender minds ????
It is good that some parents have complained to Human Rights commission in Andhra and the issue is under proceeding.
Encouraging kids for their talents is good but, it should be in good manner and should not spoil the culture and tradition.
