He borrowed some money without any prejudice. But for Datuk maringgih, the arrival of Baginda SUlaiman was highly expected. He lent money on condition that must be repaid within three months. Datuk Maringgih who do not want to lose, threatened to imprison Baginda Sulaiman, unless the Baginda gave Siti Nurbaya to be his young wife. Samsul bahri who heard the incident, so sorry. Therefore, during the holidays, he went into the field and took time to see Baginda Sulaiman who was sakit. Kebetulan, Siti Nurbaya that time was visiting his father. And they told one another their experiences. This is known Datuk maringgih and he thought they were both committed acts inappropriately. Arguments can not be avoided. Siti Nurbaya father who tried to intervene, fell from a ladder and had died. In addition, the father Syamsul Bahri who was ashamed of the accusations, dismissing her child. Meanwhile, Siti Nurbaya feel free and no longer need to submit to Datuk Maringgih, chose to stay with relatives.
But Datuk Maringgih sly sense does not stop there. Once when he was accused of Siti Nurbaya stole her jewelry, so that he can not catch up Samsul bahri to Jakarta.
