Pm Cameron on Visit - Backs Turkish Entry Into the Eu!

Article Review   by:SM THOMPSON     Original Author: BBC Radio 3 Breakfast Show

My favourite show at the moment on BBC Radio 3 is the Breakfast Show and as I nibble a biscuit and have a cup of tea I listen in with great pleasure and enjoyment to a start the day with classical music and an occasional newsteam update.  So the focus this morning was on Sondheim at 80 and the grand occasion is marked in London in the Musical Circles and according to the Team Dame Judi Dench is to grace the London Stage once more on this great musical occasion.  So, I will listen in late evening.

However, Political Agendas are of strategic importance as well as the musical enchantment of great composers and great actresses and Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is in Turkey promoting the Turkish entry as full members of the European Union and to hasten the process of Turkey as a Member of the EU ... Cameron is backing fully, Turkey's entry into the European Union as a Muslim Country .. so this never ceases to amaze me that in the middle of the Breakfast Show and my delightful broadcast Politics again rears its  head and we have to sit up take up the pen and pay attention.

I read some news from the Turkish Nobel Laureate Winner Orhan Pamuk, Novelist on the vexed question of Turkey's entry into the EU and how Sarkozy of France and Merkel of Germany are opposing the Turkish entry to full membership of the EU.  However, Mr Orhan Pamuk, Novelist did not mention that Britain is Backing Turkey's Entry into the EU . fortunately the BBC Newsteam have mentioned it this morning and I hope Mr Cameron's visit to Turkey is successful .. thanks BBC Radio 3 Breakfast Show!
