Having just returned from Denmark where I was on holiday with family I was surprised to find on You Tube
an interview with Pop Legend George Michael who are 48 is celebrating 3 decades in show business and
in this interview in Denmark he discusses te fact thaat he is homosexual and he is gay. George Michael
also talks about the worry and anxiety of performance where his voice has to be rested otherwise he
cannot peform to his fans but the issue is not the fans as he is used to that but is connected with
the media where he is on camera now for the length and breadth of his career.
George Michael described his trip and show in Denmark in glowing terms and described the
Danish People as "lovely". So his concert in Denmark obviously was very successful
Recently there has been a report on George Michael which said he was suffering from pneumonia
but I read later that he had made a full recovery and was back again at home in London.
George Michael has spanned three decards and I must admit most of my students in the UK
during my 25 to 3O year career were fans of George Michael but they are now adult and have
children of their own to ask their MUM all about George Michael and to invite their DAD to get out
the music of George Michael and play it along with today's news and popular culture blending
together the past and the present in a magnificent fusion of togetherness which provides
