The INDIANA JONES and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull movie begins at a secret U.S. military base in the South Western portion of the USA in 1957. Soviet troops disguise themselves as American soldiers to infiltrate the United States in order to retrieve the Ark of the Covenant, which was hidden in a secret warehouse by the US Government at the end of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indiana Jones and his archaeologist friend named Mac have a spectacular confrontation with Irina Spalko, leader of the clandestine Soviet forces, and the Soviet soldiers under her control.
While trying to leave the city, Indy Jones runs into a motor mechanic called Mutt Williams. Mutt tells Indy Jones if Indy will help Mutt with a rescue mission, then Mutt will help Indy find the legendary cristal skull of Akator. The Soviet villains then move forward to pursue in order to catch Indy jones and Mutt through the Marshall College campus and other city locations. Mutt and Indy jones go a head for the forbidding jungles of Peru. Indy and the other heroes ride in a jeep and camp out in the forbidding jungle. Mutt and Marion remain at the camp while Indy and Mac go into a catacomb to find the last crystal skull.
