Raaz- the mystery continues is finally out after the mindblowing 39 second trailer and its long await. It is neither a sequel of Raaz 1,nor does it have anybody from the original cast.
The starring includes Kangana Ranaut,her real life boyfriend Adhyayan and the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi.
The movie begins with Yash(Adhyayan) hosting his show Andhviswas. His show gives audience a glimpse of superstitions. After his debut, Haale dil, Adhyayan seems to have a lot of onscreen chemistry with his girlfriend Nandita( Kangana) who is pregnant.
The story sees a twist when an artist,Prithvi( Emraan) makes his appearance. He tells Nandita that he has painted a picture of her with her wrist slit. Prithvi is arrested when his art turns into reality and Nandita has a miscarriage due to excessive bleeding.
Prithvi continues to paint whatever he forsees. In all his paintings, Nandita is on the road to grave. His premonitions turn out to be real. Prithvi is released from jail as Nandita learns that he has no part to play in harming her.
As things worsen day by day and the movie grows spookier ,Prithvi paints a picture of Nandita hanging and the words Tum ashudh ho, tum sadh chuke ho" (You are impure, you have become rotten.)written on her back with blood.
After many incidents in which she just escapes the jaws of death,Nandita approaches Prithvi for help. It is hard for Yash to accept this as he is a man of prudence and reason. Yash decides not to intervene with Prithvi or help Nandita. Prithvi takes Nandita to Kalindi where a man, David Cooper, had similar life threatening incidents and had finally committed suicide with the same words written on his body with blood.
The duo soon learn that it is Veer(Jackie Shroff), the spirit, the dead father of Prithvi, who is responsible for what was happening to Nandita. Does Emraan once again play the bad guy ? Does Nandita escape the evil clutches of the spirit?
Do not miss the movie as the mystery unfolds with a really unexpected twist in the end.
Reports say that the movie has been shot on the same lines as the English horror Omen. And more interestingly, Raaz 2 is said to be the most expensive Bollywood film. Kangana once again after Fashion ,acts as a supermodel in the movie. There were rumours that the Censor Board of India rated the movie A and cut a few scenes in which Kangana was very poorly clad. This movie is apparently the first Bollywood movie released in Pakistan after the 26/11 attack.
With overwhelming response from audience and Emraan and Kangana bringing back the magic of Gangster(2006) again, the movie is worth watching .
