The Stone Angel

Movie Review   by:maorseven

This abstract was translated from מלאך האבן THE STONE ANGEL

When the time comes for Hagar Shipley to move into a retirement home, she sets out on a long, difficult journey for self acceptance. Not once was she entangled in uncomfortable situations—having acted upon her desires and secret wishes and not logic—and had to face her family and friends.
The film shows her lifestyle, her different loves, her children whom she neglected and her journey for accepting the decisions she made during her life.
When she finally faces the ultimate experiences and moments in her life, she has to let go of her love for a man who was her secret wish and evoked her passions.
A recommended movie (less for children).
  Age range: 17+.
