Being a really big fan of Michael Jackson, I simply had to go see this movie. I'd heard only good things about it, and so I wanted to check it out for myself. Here is a list of the pros and cons:
Pros:
- Great music
- Shows the auditions and just how much the backup dancers wanted this opportunity
- Captures the final rehearsals very well, and shows how much they were preparing for it
- Great dancing
Cons:
- Too long
- Didn't really feature much of Michael talking (or anything else apart from the music), thus not really revealing his personality much
- Pretty much music and dancing the whole time
- Didn't show much of a moonwalk
I would definitely recommend this movie to Michael Jackson fans and others too, because this would definately not be something you want to miss out on, but don't see this if you don't like Jackson's music, because the movie is pretty much filled with it!
