Knocked Up is possibly one of the funniest movies ever! It is filled with inappropriate humor and explains what happens when Alison Scott (played by Katherine Heigl), a woman living with her sister, brother-in-law, and their two children, who has a bright future with E! Entertainment Television, hooks up for a one night 'drunken stupor' stand with Ben Stone (played by Seth Rogan), a lazy, pot-head, going nowhere, illegal immigrant from Canada who lives with friends, and gets "knocked up".
The largest goal Ben has for his life is a project him and his friends have been working on that they believe is going to make them rich. A website showing all nude scenes from movies. They believe it to be an original idea until Alison's brother-in-law, Pete (played by Paul Rudd) lets them know that "Mr. Skin" is a successful website that already exists, crashing their dreams to the ground.
Now with no direction, he must learn to "Man-up" and become a father in a 9 month journey with Alison, who is embarrassed to be seen with him, and worried about her future. All the while her sister Debbie (played by Leslie Mann) isn't making things any easier.
This movie has funny, quirky, twists and turns and hilarious scenes that you have to see to appreciate. This is definetly one of Judd Apatow's best, and is a sure classic among the comedy community.
I give this movie 5 stars and recommend it for adults with a sense of humor.
