The Hindi movie market has more or less been celebrity pushed since its creation. The similar movie activity or so known as art films tried to separate away for the common Bollywood films but the market you will find moved in give preference to of the box office helpful characters. The art of telling a new tale is keeping due to some separate films only. Can the combination of mainstream films as well as independent filmmakers carry the next generation of cinema?

One of the prominent of the independent films in Indian film industry, Anurag Kashyap said in his latest interview that he is not comfortable about the stars using his talent to enhance their image. According to him, his talent is only supposed to be used in improving the quality of the movie rather than being used as a tool to improve the image of a celebrity. He feels that one of the main things that is wrong with bollywood is when a big celebrity connects with any movie, marketing of the movie takes the center stage than other things, and the celebrities influences the movie makers to make changes in the story and script in such a way that their public image doesn't get disturbed. He stressed that film makers and celebrities should not have different objectives, for example if a film maker is focusing on story/script, a celebrity should think in the same direction rather than looking at the cash the movie is going to generate.

In the end, he promised that content of his movies will not be decided by what public wants. Even if he ever makes any commercial movie, it will on the lines of Avatar or 'The Dark Knight'.
