This books is intended for those entrepreneurs seeking information about internet marketing. Whatever the size of your business, it is important to know the ins and outs of how marketing works on the internet. This book tries to provide an easy to follow introduction to this often confusing subject.
George Little does seem to focus quite heavily on the SFI home business opportunity in this book. SFI is a subdivision of Carson Services Incorporated that operates an MLM (Multi Layer Marketing) scheme through which people can earn commissions by selling products either offline amongst friends, family, acquaintances or even door to door, or across the internet, via a website created, maintained and operated by SFI. As the affiliates (as the salespeople are known) sell greater volumes of products, they advance in rank, gaining higher commissions and other benefits. While not every will be part of this system, the pointers Mr Little gives in his book can be applied to all branches of internet marketing, not just MLM schemes.
In the book, various marketing systems are judged fairly and sensibly, their value explained in detail. Then many references are made to SFI and how these advertisements and systems can benefit the SFI affiliate. However, the book still has some value for non-SFI entrepreneurs as the references to SFI services is not the main focus of the writing.
His assessment of various online marketing schemes is well thought out. That said, this information is probably of more use to a businessperson entering the world of internet marketing for the first time, rather than someone already versed in the field.
In conclusion, a sound book of interest to businesspeople looking at internet marketing properly for the first time. With especial interest to SFI affiliates. Perhaps the next books in the series will take the information further and be of more interest to professional internet marketers.
