All tunes are based on these notes and the pitch of these notes has to be maintained uniformly to become a music maestro. The instruments provide a helfpful base for maintaining the pitch. So, to learn music, and to enjoy it, I advise that one has to learn any instrument -violin, veena, piano, fidel... The list is never ending.
