(The) Ananda Project is, with Reel People and few others, one of the best American teams of Soulful/Deep/House music producers. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, they often work for the famous and important label "King Street Sounds", a label that has got artists such as Louie Vega, Stephane Cooke,
Kerri Chandler and many others.
Their music is a blend of Deep House (especially those deep and filtered pads/synths) , Latin vibes (think of : flutes a la Frankie Knuckles- The Whistle Song, and latin grooves) a lot of soul (the genre, but also the human touch) and a little taste of Funk every now and then, in the basslines, like a lot of House music- subgenres should include.
This song is pure Heaven: not only the groove is perfectly balanced between the soft, deep sounds of the pads (keyboards chords) and the music textures created by little sounds and a repetitive upbeat "pluck piano".
The rhythm is pretty fast, it flows as we hear some sounds added, like the funky guitar, some little sounds and effects -
The voice of Marta Gazman is, like the song, Beautiful...Soft, delicate, perfect for Ananda Project.
Rasmus Faber, (a very good producer and pianist ) here, creates a remix who's really pure class.
