What a great band it has been.This band is the symbol of brotherhood and great collaboration between the five brothers and their father who was their manager (Joseph Jackson).We were so glad to watch every performance of these kids who grew in front of their fans' eyes.The joy and the positive energies that they brought to their audience has become soon addictive.The Jackson Five contributed to its audience more than just good music and entertainment,they were adorable and professional children and it has been always a big plessure to listen to them and to watch them performing.
Years after their long way as a united band the truth and the reality behind the scenes were exposed to the public,it was then that we figured out that the members of the band that we loved so much weren't as happy as they seemed.
The boys were very professional,even days when I watch their videos on Youtube I can't detect any flaw in their performances.The band was too perfect (maybe now we realize that it was too perfect too be true) ,the boys presented this perfection as so natural,but to come this level of perfection wasn't easy at all.The father of the kids was perfectionist,and he demanded them to aspire to perfection.The will to succeed doesn't sound so bad,we all probably think that as stronger this will is the more chances we have to secceed,and maybe it's true... but in which price?
Michael Jackson admited that in some days he just wanted to go out and play with other kids,he admited that he had to give up on some of his childhood in order to please his father.
So we remember this band as a special one,while their members remeber besides the glory and the fans also the things they can only dream of because they have missed them.
We all know how sensitive was Michael Jackson,we all know how calm he was and how much he loved the world and especially helpless children.We may suppose now that his great love for children derived from him seeing in these children a reflection of himself,a reflection of a little Michael who wanted to play in the snow with other children but stayed inside to record another song.
And maybe exactly because of the demands of his father he succeeded to develop his natural talent,but maybe he would have prefered to give up on his glory in order to enjoy an ordinary childhood that every child deserves.
I think that what Michael Jackson lacked in the past was a sacrifice made for the world,so that the world would be able to enjoy his great music and performances.
I'm now going to listen to some of the band's songs,and recommand you to enjoy them too.
