Roger Day Dj Bbc Radio Solent:

Article Review   by:SM THOMPSON

As a resident I tend to like National Broadcasting as it follows me around the UK as well as The World but its only
during the last few years I have tuned into BBC Loal Radio Solent and the reason offered are I know what's going on at my front door as its often broadcast on BBC Radio Solent. Particularly the weather when we had that snow spell
and we were all trapped behind a mountain of snow BBC Radio Solent gave an update on a day to day basis
on when it was all going to end and their weather reports are helpful.

So I was surprised last night when I tuned into Roger Day DJ and he announced the programme he was
presenting was closing down in seven months and in a short time it will no longer be here it will no
longer be on air ....... so is it CUTS!

Besides .... continued Roger Day he was an accountant and he worked as a DJ on the legendary
Radio Luxenbough and Radio Caroline systems - and they say at the BBC that Roger Day's knowledge is
excellent and it goes as far back as 1955 to the present day - Roger Day commented that Johnny
Walker contacted him about the closure of his show but he failed to say where he was going
or what happens next to the Roger Day Show!

For example will it move somewhere else as been the case so far in Roger Day's career and will
he follow in the footsteps of Sir Terry Wogan who left his breakfast show and broadcasts occasionally ..
or will he do what Tony Blackburn does as his dazzling career is often covered in the Daily Press.

As a writer and expert in TEFL I wish Roger Day DJ Radio Solent at the BBC "ALL THE BEST" in his
future endeavours and I have enjoyed his shows ............ great artists write great epics and earn
a lot of money while in the workforce so its hard times to give up paid work! Keep on with
the hobbies as they form the backbone of a once upon a time career ...... hard work pays UP!
