James Galway: Flute:

Article Review   by:SM THOMPSON

It was wonderful to hear the golden flute of James Galway age 72 on IN TUNE Programme on BBC Radio 3 and I was captivated by the exquisite sounds of the magic of his work and so much so that I took the time to read up on the great career of Belfast born James Galway;

James Galway comes from Belfast Northern Ireland and he has great ability and talent in the world of music and playing his golden flute: He was interviewed on air by Sean Rafferty and he has a charming answer to each of the interviewer's searching questions: I liked the link of my father played the flute and I play it too so its a sort of cradle to the grave routine excellently spoken on the BBC by Sir Jaes Galway and Sean Rafferty.

In connection with James Galway's private life I gather he has been married three times and his illustrious wives and partners are the subject of a great discussion online wikiapedia: he has twins and one son with one or other of his ex wives: James Galway lives with his third wife in Switzerland and apparently he is a committed Christian and wears the cross on his person so its fortunate he doesnt do it here in the UK as I believe such practice is forbidden but as the Americans say I take a raincheck on all of this stuff and bought a new umbrella to keep the rain out:

As where James Galway comes from that is Belfast, there it is often raining cats and dogs as I spent some years there working and writing.

James Galway is in peformance at the Albert Hall soon with Youth Orchestras and the programme was devoted to promotion of this great musical event so its up to us to research time date and title of it all; but thats tomorrow's job
Hard work pays UP!
