Johann Sebastian Bach, was a famous German composer. He was born in Eisenach, Germany on March 21, 1685. He was born from a family that was gifted in music. His father, Johann Ambrosius Bach named, is a trumpet player, orchestra conductor, and violinist. Both the uncle is a famous figure of composer-arranger, and many cousins who also include people who are respected in the music world. With 20 people from his lineage, known as a musician, this family resembles a musical dynasty.
Although Bach always be a good position and can maintain his family, he is not as famous as Mozart and Beethoven during his life (not even as famous as Frederich Chopin and Franz Liszt).
At the age of 15 years, from the original Bach lived and was raised by his older brother, is forced to come out of the house because their family size continues to grow. Bach through the intercession of his school music leaders became members of the church choir singer Michaliskirche, in the city of Lüneburg. Bach met with important composers of the period, George Boehm (1661-1773), Bach later became his disciple in the field of composition.
Bach was a follower of Luther and very religious. He wants his music to serve the interests of the church. So no wonder, if most of his work was religious music.
Bach's contributions to the world of music incorporating many details of the various musical styles of Germany, France and Italy during the last years of the Baroque era. His famous literature in the history of the organ, choir, cantata and Oratorio, a very big relationship with the Lutheran liturgy, and his works are known for their large number and high skill of its creator. For nearly two centuries of the Bach family is active in the music world. His most famous work is the Brandenburg concertos.
Bach died on July 28, 1750 at the age of 65 years.
