Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon is a story that revolves around the life of a vietnamese Kim that worked for a bar during the time when the troops of the US army are starting to pulled out from Saigon.  As an innocent girl, Kim was forced to work at a bar where she me Chris, an American soldier.  The resolves not only on the complicated love story that transpired between the two leads but also on how during that time the political and social struggles in Vietnam forced its people to dream to  leave their homeland at all cost.  The story revolves around interesting and intriguing characters that flared up the plot better.  It's so heart breaking on what the story portrayed on how common people needed to sell themselves just to be able to go through their needs and to be able to survive the hard environment that they are forced to live in.  As well, the social relevance of the scenes shown in the play was an eye - opener.  It's just sad that in the end the most aggravated party in all of these kind of situations are the children of the two parties that needed to part ways.  There are times that they are never given a chance to know the other part of their parentage.
