The Apprentice is a tv show that started a whole franchise of tv shows after it was first aired in 2004. The show shows a number of different contestant (usually with very different backgrounds) competing in order to become the apprentice of Donald Trump.
The main developer of The Apprentice is Mark Burnett, who also developed the reality show Survivor, among others. Donald Trump is of course one of the main producers.
The show has been on the air for 10 seasons (in 2010), some of them have been featuring regular people, and some have been so called celebrity seasons, where celebrities have competed for charity. The 10th season (that premiered in fall 2010) is a recession season, where people who have been laid off or lost their job compete in order to get a new job with Mr Trump.
I really like this show, so I do recommend it to others who are interested in business, the high life and personal development. Or why not in Donald Trump himself?
