Tonight's game between Lousiana State University and Texas A&M University will be at Cowboys Stadium, so it's a new home for the Cotton Bowl, Which was previously played at fair Park Stadium.
The cotton Bowl Classic has a long tradition as a college football bowl game. The Cotton Bowl Classic has been played annually since 1937.
According to the Dallas Morning News :
"Texas A&M and LSU first met on the football field on Dec. 2, 1899, and played 48 more times over the intervening years. A&M won that last game in 1995, 33-17, but LSU leads the series with 26 wins to 20, with three ties."
