The heroine is Fatmagyul peasant girl, engaged to Mustafa - fisherman with whom they want to marry soon and draw their plans and dreams for the future. But Mustafa went fishing and Fatmagyul leave it overnight to send it. On the way back home met her four drunken men brutally rape her and leave her half dead on the shore.
