In 1983 a young Don Decker who was in prison was allowed a
weekend pass to attend his grandfather’s funeral. Though he decided to attend
Don was ambivalent because his grandfather has been physically abusive towards
him while he was growing up. Because of his family’s refusal to house him
during the weekend Don appealed to a friend of the family Bob Kieffer and he
was allowed to stay at the Kieffer household. At first everything went well but
when Don decide to use the restroom before going down to dinner he gets a weird
feeling as the restroom suddenly goes cold. When he gets attacked by an entity
Don doesn’t know what to do. A few seconds later a face of an old man appears
and Don is suddenly scratched on his arm.
When Don goes down to dinner Bob Kieffer notices the scratches
on his arm and Don explains that an evil entity attacked him in the restroom.
The Kieffer’s don’t know what to make of this information. After dinner the
family gathers in the living room and when the temperature drops and it gets
cold Don knows that it’s because of the same entity. With the Kieffer family
looking on water runs down the walls and then it starts raining in the living
room. Upon examining the water the Kieffer’s discover it is not water but some
unknown substance that merely looks like water. They call the landlord and they
proceed to check all the pipes but there are no leaks to be found. Meanwhile it
has continued raining and Don has gone into a trance.
The family calls the police hoping to get help but the police
are mystified and can do nothing about the situation. During that time the landlord’s wife and Mrs.
Kieffer have deduced that Don is to blame and start yelling at him to stop it
and in response Don levitates and is thrown back once again attacked by the
entity. The family resorts to reading the bible and things quiet down for a while.
When he had to return to jail Don knew that he didn’t go
back alone. He proceeds to make it rain in his jail cell and get the warden
wet. Everyone in the jail is scared and the warden finally brings in the jail chaplain
(minister) to perform an exorcism and rid Don of the entity.
