T.V. industry is booming with so
many weekly, weekend and special episode soap operas. Big film production
houses are venturing into making soap operas also. One such Indian Film
Production House, named Rajshri Film Productions Pvt. Ltd., started a soap
opera in 2009. A Family based serial which ended left a great impact on
Story of a very rich family based
in Ujjain and how they fight against all odds together, forms the synopsis of
the serial. The family experiences happy moments, sacrifices, trials and
tribulations but they end up setting an example for the society.
Abha and Karan are the children
of business rivals, who fall in love. The woman-oriented serial is on ‘Abha’
who is the daughter of the owner of ‘Swarn Bhawan’ and is married to his rival
who overtakes the mansion. First she bears the wrath of her father-in-law and
when she wins his confidence, along with a loving husband, she starts to make
efforts to prove that’s she is a good daughter-in-law. She binds the broken
ties among the siblings by removing their ill intentions. Her tribulations
include the curse on the family which she removes by her strength and becomes a
mother. When her husband’s life is at stake after the loss of many of her
family members, she re-marries a doctor. In this Bengali family she teaches her
second husband, his duties as a father.
In the end, she settles the
widowed daughter-in-law’s and the daughter by marrying them to good men. The
family depicts that daughter-in-laws becomes daughters in a family. Be together
forever, be it friends or family, is what the serial preaches.
The Barjatya’s have lived up to
their trend of making clean, family-oriented films, though now in the form of
Television. There is rivalry, love, betrayal, confessions, forgiveness, joy and
sorrows. Money, which makes the world go round, is well highlighted in terms of
relationships. Though the serial ended very fast, it is a memory.
