The Greatest Love is a romantic comedy Korean drama
consisting of 16 episodes about Koo Ae Jeong, a former star singer of the
disbanded girl band The National Treasures Girl who is struggling in her career
finds herself entangled in a relationship with Dokgo Jin, the top celebrity of
Korea after the incident in the latter’s dressing room where she hears Dokgo
Jin’s rejection for Hollywood.
Starring
Koo Ae Jeong (Kong Hyo-jin) - a former star singer who is
struggling in her career after the disbandment of their girl band National Treasure Girls 10 years ago. She is being blame for the disbandment of their group
leaving her with the bad image and losing her fame. While struggling with her career
she meets Dok Go Jin in a gasoline station while the latter is waiting for his
manager in his van.
Dokgo Jin (Cha Seung-won) - is the biggest celebrity in
Korea who aims to be in a Hollywood movie. He undergo in a heart operation 10
years ago. After the operation, he uses artificial heart and a monitor in his
wrist for his heart beat. He maintains a heart beat ranging from 60-90, but
every time he sees Koo Ae Jeong, he exceeds 90 and fall in love.
Yoon Pil-joo (Yoon Kye-sang) – a handsome and well-mannered doctor of
oriental medicine who has no interest in the lives of celebrities. He joins in
the Couple Making reality show after the urge of her mother, he became eager to
meet Koo Ae Jong after knowing that she will be one of the participants.
Kang Se-ri (Yoo In-na) – the youngest member of National
Treasure Girls before the disbandment of the band. The least popular member of
the band, but she became famous after the disbandment. She was an ex-girlfriend
of Dokgo Jin, but they pretend to be in a relationship to avoid bad publicity.
She is the host of the reality show called Couple Making where Koo Ae Jeong is
one of the celebrity participants. She falls in love to Yoon Pil-joo.
