Even though Mrs Brown is actually a man dressed up as an elderly woman, don't let that put you off, this is no Mrs Doubtfire. Mrs Agnes Brown, or 'Mammy' as her grown up children call her, is a foul mouthed, yet loving mother, who gets into all kinds of trouble, from crashing a funeral mistaking it for a hens party, to tasering herself with what she thought was the telephone. Mrs Brown means well, and wants the best for her children, but her antics get in the way of their lives and usually do more damage than good. She has a son who is homo-sexual, which she still doesn't know of yet, because he is to scared to tell her and when he tries, he is always interrupted. Some people might say the show is full of crude humour, but Mrs brown is taking funny to a whole new level. We can all somewhat relate to Mrs Browns boys, with children getting married, moving out, your children coming out as gay, being a widow. But somehow Mrs Brown gets through it all with ups and downs, and non stop laughter. Though i would not recommend this show for people under 15, this goes by the maturity of the person and their understandment of the show in general.
This is most definately one of the funniest shows you will ever watch, no doubt about it. 10/10!!!!
