The present article aims to introduce the authors' experimental research on the volatile components of the meagre-lean coal between the bituminous coal's and the anthracite coal's. To make clear the further regularity of the coal dust concentration on the maximum explosion pressure and the maximum pressure rise, and realize the security in BF injection, we have conducted a systemic experimental study on the explosion characteristics of four kinds of meagre-lean coal. The study has been done in the 20L-sphere. The data acquisition system can transfer the pressure signal into electric signal and saved as data file. The influence of the dust concentration on the Maximum explosion pressure and the Maximum pressure rise has been discussed and analyzed with the explosion index(\%K\%_ st) calculated in detail. As a result, the Maximum explosion pressure and the Maximum pressure rise proves to grow with the increase of coal dust. There exists a Cm, under which the Maximum explosion pressure proves the largest. So the explosion intensity could be controlled through coal dust concentration. Among the four kinds of meagre-lean coal, the Maximum explosion pressure of Changcun injecting coal proves to be 0.
741 9 MPa, whereas the Maximum pressure rise of Changcun injecting coal is 42.13 MPa/s. Since the Maximum explosion pressure of Changcun raw coal is 0.669 3 MPa, the Maximum pressure rise of Changcun raw coal is equal to 36.68 MPa/s. Whereas the Maximum explosion pressure of Zhangcun injecting coal is 0.723 6 MPa, the Maximum pressure rise of Zhangcun injecting coal is 43.54 MPa/s. In the same way, the Maximum explosion pressure of Zhangcun raw coal is 0.699 0 MPa, the Maximum pressure raise of Changcun injecting coal is 39.90 MPa/s.Thus, according to the classification of \%K\%_ st, the four kinds of meager-lean coal are all the feebleness explosibility coal. Thus, it can be concluded that it is safe in BF injection to use feebleness explosibility coal, so are the four kinds of meager-lean fit for BF injection.
