The process flows for the preparation of acrylic acid /polyurethane coating and its performance determination , synthesis
steps of polyurethane gained with TDI modified by castor oil, acrylic resin and coatings of polyurethane modified by acrylic acid were introduced. Dosage of hydroxyl acrylic resin and wear resistant fillings of molybdenum disulfide, chromium hemitrioxide and polytef was optimized by orthogonal test. Coatings' optimum formula was gained as follows (by mass fraction ): A components: polyurethane of 3%, butyl acetate of 3%; B components: hydroxyl acrylic acid of 1.5%, molybdenum disulfide of 0.3%, chromium hemitrioxide of 0.4%, polytef of 0.6%, mixed solvent of 5%, lauryl sodium sulfate of 0.12%, KH-550 of 0.025%, dibutyltin dilaurate of 0.0125%. Film's surface drying time is about 30 min, and actual time is about 36 h. Coatings' adhesion is 1 grade, its hardness is 1 B. Chord length of wear trace of coating is 6.5 mm after 1 500 cycle of wheel rotation with a load of 3.3 kg . It shows that the coating has good wear resistance. There are no blistering, wetting inflation and peeling on coatings after dipping samples a week-long into a solution with mass fraction of 5%,15% of hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide, respectively. The coating shows good corrosion resistance.
