The structure parameters of crystalline phase α-Fe and amorphouse phase in Fe73.5 Cu1Mo3Si13.5B9 annealed alloys have been studied by using XRD method. The effect of these structure parameters on initial permeability has been discussed. The width and thickness of amorphouse alloy Fe73.5Cu1Mo3Si13.5B9 ribbons were 5mm and 20μm. These samples were annealed for lh in the temperature rang form 460 to 600℃ under an Ar atmosphere. Experimental results show: In annealing Fe73.5Cu1Mo3Si13.5B9 alloy, the first crystalline phase is α-Fe phase, Fe2B and FeMo2B2are crystallized out when annealing temperature is over 560℃.The α-Fe phase in Fe73.5Cu1Mo3Si13.5B9 alloy annealed at 460℃ is α-Fe (Si), and the Si content increases with increasing annlealing temeperature. The size of α-Fe(Si) doesn't change when annealing temperature is below 560℃, and it is about 14nm. With increasing annealing temperature, fist, the volume fraction of α- Fe(Si) increases more quickly. Then, it increases slowly. Finally, it increases quicklly again.With increasing annealing temperature, first, the short- range order(rs) of amorphous phase decreases,then increases. But the nearest neighbour atomic distance increases first, then decreases. when annealing temperature is 520℃, the rs value is minimum, the r value is maximum, and a special structure state of amorphouse phase is obtained.In Fe73.5Cu1Mo3Si73.5B9 nanocrystalline alloy, the Si content. volume fraction and size of α-Fe phase,the short-range order and the nearest neighbour atomic distance of amorphouse phase have an effect on initial permeability.Correspondent: ZHANG Xiangyi, Department of Materials Engineering, Yan Shan University, Qin Huangdao 066004
