A special experimental fixture was designed for simulating the circle double drawbead. Then the relations between double drawbead restricting forces (DBRF), drawbead forming forces (DBFF), drawbead holding forces (DBHF) and drawbead penetration height, radius of drawbead and groove shoulders were studied by experiments. The experimental results show that the DBRF, DBFF and DBHF are affected mainly by the drawbead penetration height, the radius of drawbead and groove shoulders only have rather little influences on the drawbead force parameters. The penetration height of inner drawbead has more influences on drawbead restricting force than drawbead forming force and holding force. On the other hand, the influences of outer drawbead height is opposite. It is more on drawbead forming force and holding force. The characteristics of double drawbead force parameters are compared with that of single drawbead. The restricting force of double drawbead can arrive twice of that of single drawbead, the forming force and holding force are obviously more than twice of that of single drawbead. At last suggestions for designing and adjusting double drawbead were given out.
