A true objective functional about the least heavy oil consuming in oxidation phase in the copper refining rotary anode furnace based on functional theory was established based on three coupling energy equations about radiation heat exchange between high temperature fume and the surface of crude copper liquid and heat conduction from the crude copper liquid.The minimum of true objective functional was derived by variational method,and some curves such as optimal heavy oil consuming,optimal rising temperature and optimal rising temperature velocity about crude copper liquid.The result of application on the model reveals the optimal curve of heavy oil consuming is influenced by oxidation time of crude copper liquid,and heavy oil consuming is increased by 20% when reducing the oxidation time of curde copper liquid from 2.0h to 1.7h.The model is more beneficial to on-line optimal control and energy saving in oxidation phase in the copper refining rotary anode furnace based on functional theory.
