This paper analyzes impurity and microstructure on Ti-Al-Zr titanium alloy through metallographic test after introduced the metallurgy history, chemical composition of this alloy and process cycle of tube.It is concluded that the impurities are minimal, fine and random distributed nitride, oxide and accidental little polymer clinker. The microstructure of this titanium alloy tube is α phase equal axial grain. But because it is different batch, the sizes of grain have some difference. The tension test on this titanium alloy tube at room temperature was done on Instron and the fracture was analyzed by SEM. It draws a conclusion that this titanium alloy tube has better plasticity. Then, the result was discussed. It is pointed out that the impurity of this titanium alloy tube is originated from metallurgy, that optimizing its forging and drawing process are the way improving property of this titanium alloy tube, multi plane glide because axial rate ( c/a ) of hcp is lower than 1.63 is the main reason why the plasticity of this material is good.
