In the development of new technology and equipment on aluminum strip high speed casting,
casting roller is working under
the conditions of high temperature, great pressure and high casting speed, furthermore
casting roller has direct relations with all kinds of quality indexes of casting products, so the intensity design of casting roller is the key technology. With the help of FEM software Algor and language of technical computing Matlab, the authors simulates and computes intensity of two casting rollers in working and the other two casting rollers that are designed for high speed casing. At first heated assembling stress between roller cover and roller core, cut stress brought by casting moment and casting stress brought by casting force are treated, then they are added together to be analyzed synthetically for stress field. The author gets the stress
condition with a better accuracy of casting roller under heated assembling fore stress, casting moment and casting force in this new way. In the conclusions strategy and methods to improve the stress condition of casting roller are offered. A new analyzing and designing way is offered to fit the process of aluminum strip high speed casting and it is instructive to improve the intensity designing of casting roller. <
