In order to understande the effects of
cosolvent in the
solution of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxy silane (γ-GPTMS) on hydrolysed γ-GPTMS the deposited property on the
aluminum alloy surface,the content of silicon element depositing on the aluminum alloy surface emanating from the solution of the various cosolvent ratio and concentration of γ-GPTMS were determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), meanwhile. The
silanizing film layer on the aluminum alloy surface was charactered by the reflection-absorption infrared spectroscopy (RAIRS). The results showed that the cosolvent affect evidently the deposition of γ-GPTM on aluminum alloy surface and the silicon content of silanizing film layer depositing on aluminum alloy surface from pure water solution of γ-GPTM was highest,the deposition content was enhanced as the concentration of γ-GPTM was increased. Otherwise the aluminum siloxane (Al-O-Si)covalent bond between oxidized aluminum alloy surface and film layer was formed,the epoxy of molecule of γ-GPTM arrange on the outer surface of film layer. And the reactive reactivity of film layer surface is greater.
