Hydropower is widely accepted and
have been in use for more than half a century. The thrust of controlled water
falls within delivery pipes from the basin 300 feet high up propel generators
installed at the base of the dam. Does the capital investment of US$1,200
million justify a 600mW output derivable from one dam that takes 5 to 7 years
to construct and 5 million tons of reinforced waterproof porous-proof concrete.
In the lack of porous-proof admixture, water collected within the cured porous
dam is converted into steam by solar heat causing an explosion and the dam
collapsed. China
4-stage hydrodams is under construction in the Yansee river with multi-stage
water locks to facilitate passage to their vessels. When the project is
completed, the trapped stream will dry up Maekong river, the important feeder waterway
to Thailand.
Horizontal Axis and Vertical Axis
Wind Turbines cogenerating with Photovoltiac system is fast becoming acceptable
that all production of hardware supplies are exhausted. While HAWT has
propeller blade that span 34 meters, it is suitable for Wind Turbine Farm that
requires hundreds of acreage tract of plain, hills or mountain to combine their
output with the main feeder lines of 500kV that is reduced to 132kV then to 60kV
at the distribution grid and finally 12kV at the street feeder lines. VAWT
takes much less space and can be installed on the roof of high-rise buildings
with varying outputs from 1kW to 10mW each, and suitable for home, practically
cogenerating with Photovoltiac system installed beneath their posts and external
wall curtains of high-rise buildings that provide two-fold benefits as an
external insulator for the sandwiched wall curtains
curtains consists of double walls of unequal thickness to prevent sonic
transfer between walls>. Photovoltiac is
an expensive investment and is not long lasting as their efficiency is
drastically reduced as time goes by amidst technological advancement to
Nano-Solar Cells coated by evaporation on substrates said to increase the
output 5 to 10 times more than conventional Solar Cells widely in use.
The Ultimate
Green Power:
The Absolute
Standalone Selfgenerating Electropower System.
This is a major breakthrough in the
Ultimate Green Power basing on earth gravitation and vacuum counter-acting to
produce hydro thrust to propel turbines.
One may recall the vacuum created by lighting a match under an empty
glass and placed into a bowl of water. The created vacuum siphoned water from
the bowl into the glass to the amazement of our childhood.
A prototype was installed inside
a cave near Berne, the Swiss capitol. This
cave was an oil reserve during WW-2 and was converted to use as the site for
this project. The prototype of The Absolute Standalone Selfgenerating
Electropower Plant built around earth gravitation and vacuum counter-acting
principle consisting of a module of 6 towers 12 meters high above the ground
with 120 centimeters in diameter with the hydro thrust of 50 tons per cubic
meter from each tower assigned to propel a 132kW generator installed underneath
each tower.
Here is how the principle
works. Each tower is top up with cold
water and sealed airtight. About 10% of the entire volume of water in each tower
is drained off to create space for the vacuum within each tower. The rise in temperature of the filled-in cold
water begin to adjust naturally to room ambient temperature thereby expanded by
the increasing differential in temperature.
A 5-degree Centigrade increase forces the water in each tower to
overflow into delivery pipe with a 50 tons per cubic meter thrust that propels
each turbine as beneath each tower. The 132-kW gross output from each turbine
of which 32kW is utilized to heat water in respective towers yield a net output
of 100kW each, in all, 600kW for a compact module of 6 towers that has a
footprint of only 5 meters built and installed in one year time. Larger modules of 500mW with six 5-meter
towers 30 meter in height highlighted a footprint of 20 meters ! Even higher output modules can be installed
to synchronise output with feeder lines in the distribution grid where
required.
The downtime during annual
maintenance is insignificant as each generator can be serviced one by one by
temporarily shutdown the corresponding tower, releasing the vacuum in the tower
to halt hydro thrust. Therefore, five/sixth of the combined power is generating
in real time nonstop which is a great advantage as comparing to total shutdown
in conventional systems. About 10% of water is lost annually by evaporation and
is top up to restart production.
