Haze-A Health Hazard

Book Abstract by: mysh

Original Author: Mysh
Haze is actually a form of air pollution. It consists of dangerous chemicals that are floating in the air. If we are exposed
to too much haze, we will fall ill.
Recently, the haze was mainly caused by the forest fires in Indonesia. However, there are also other factors that contribute to the haze. Open burning is one of the main causes of haze. Other causes are toxic fumes from factories and exhaust fumes from cars.
Haze causes health problems and many people develop asthma because of it. Since the air is so polluted, people have difficulty in breathing. There are some steps that we can take to protect ourselves against haze. We should not go jogging or play vigorous with traffic. If you have to venture to such places, cover your mouth and nose with a weet cotton handkerchief.
The government must take an action to prevent haze from occuring. They must make laws and enforce them strictly. We too must do our part. We must try to reduce the release of poisonous chemicals into the air. If we all work together, I am sure we will succeed in preventing the haze from recurring
