When the first primitive man decided to use a bone for a club instead of eating its marrow, that was
investment. Investment
requires rational decisions based upon the necessary background and historical depth to facilitate unemotional judgement of the various ideas, advices, opinions and recommendations with which investors are bombarded. Calculations of Expected Monetary Values (EMV) have been made to measure the attractiveness of alternatives. The conditions and actions are shown in the tabular as well as in the decision tree diagram to facilitate the understanding of the decision process along with a table showing the
parameters and their detail factors that effect the parameters. With the help of decision trees knowledge can be captured in a more practical way and the knowledge base may easily be developed.
