America is the most advanced and the most powerful nation in the world. Its people are the richest. Even the poorest there have all the amenities of life those of a poor country cannot even imagine.
The communists only will speak of poverty in the United States. It is a free county accepting anyone from anywhere. In fact a vast majority of the inhabitants are people who migrated from all over the world. The Europeans, Africans, Asians---the white, black, colored, the brown and yellow races have found home there. Every one enjoys equal opportunity to develop and flourish. America has always stood for freedom and the rule of the people. 'The graves of young Americans who defended freedom surround the world.', The credit for containing communism, a real threat to the world both in terms of ruining the economy and cutailing the freedom of the people -- goes to this land.
There is free market economy. Effort and work are rewarded always. No one is deterred from making himself rich or occupying any position with ones efforts and merits. If you want to idle you can. But then you will be penniless and an alien in an otherwise rich and bountiful world. There is absolute religious freedom. It is not only that anyone can practice any religion but you can propagate it freely using any electronic or conventional media. You look at some other copuntries where only one religion is allowed. You are not even permitted to take with you the religious book of your faith into some nations! The followers of any religion go to America and enjoy every possible freedom of thoughts and worship and can even move the courts there if someone infringes upon these rights and can even get compensation if a wrong is committed.
Well, have you thought of the original inhabitants of America? Before the 17th century, the continent was mostly forests with sporadic Red Indians here and there. There was no industry or agriculture. On this land came those immigrants of Europe who braved the mighty Atlantic Ocean in crude crafts to escape the poverty back home. The mighty ocean devoured many of them. Almost a quarter of all those who left the shores of Europe in the beginnings perished to the depths of its depths.
Still those visionary pioneers continued to come. They started industries with nothing. They cleared the forests and started cultivation. They worked with soil, they worked with machines from morning to dusk. The settlers believed that they could overcome any difficulty and progress. And today you see that they did succeed. America has become the richest and the mightiest nation on the face of the earth. Their story is awe-inspiring.
In the 18th century itself they challenged the hegemony of Britain and fought long wars with it. Before the turn of the 19th century, they became an independent nation. The Mighty British empire had to bend its knees before a new nation of settlers. And thereafter they have been welcoming people from all other countries to come and prosper.
