IQ measures only (mainly) there types of
intelligences: Logical, special and linguistic. There are 7 or 8 other
types of
intelligences like: Musical
intelligence, Kinesthetic Intelligence . Spiritual Intelligence . Financial Intelligence Emotional Intelligence . Social . Intelligence …………..and so on. You can succeed if any one of these is prominent in your make up.
Some qualities like self discipline, endurance, ambition, controlling emotions, are all very important to go up in any field. These cannot be defined in terms of IQ at all.
Even those who score high marks in college or school may end up as total failures in real life. But one who failed in many subjects may score high in real life. Even if one is mediocre in scores, if he has common sense and cunningness he may go up much more than a brainy child .
Early childhood experiences do shape one’s future. If a child has not formed strong emotional bonds with his or her parents it runs the risk of being a loser in life. If a child does not mingle well with his peers from the neighborhood he will suffer from social relatedness which will stand in the way of his success. We can only feel sad for it.It can also create it but with a lot of effort.

In the present world what counts most is your emotional quotient. This is a second type of intelligence. It encompasses several capabilities like empathy, self confidence, emotional self control, tact, character, sensitivity, the ability to take decision under stress, to be creative and innovative and the ability to make strong and sensible choices. And all these require a lot of data collection and analysis here your memory is to be fully tapped.
Higher EQ is found among all the great leaders. All of us have these two-IQ and EQ at varying degrees. There is no need to think that one’s brain is inadequate. Everyone with a developed brain ( anyone who reads this has one) HAS THE POTENTIALTY TO GO UP TO ANY LEVEVL IN ONE’S CHOSEN FIELD.
