Light comes from the Sun. Sunlight gives the
Earth brightness and energy. It is
Light that makes seeing things possible. Because of light we have food to eat, we have air to breathe because plants give off
oxygen which is very necessary to us. For us to exist on earth, we need oxygen. There is a discussion about light, many scientists say that light is a Wave and some say it’s a Particle. They have done
different experiments and in each experiments, light behaved differently. The light that we see is colorless, and this light is called White Light. When light passes through a prism, the
colors that show up are red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo and violet, this is also called Rainbow. A prism is a glass that separates the color of light. These different array of colors are called
SPECTRAL color or may also be called the Light Spectrum. But we don’t often see the spectral colors all at the same time. this is because an object absorbs most of the wavelength of light and it reflects back only one color. We see colors in objects when in fact they cannot produce light. This is because they get their colors from the light that strikes it. Every color that we see all around us are a product of spectral colors which are mixed in with White lights. But when there are areas that light cannot pass through, it will form a shadow.
