Angel – or Sar ha-Olam in Hebrew, which means “Prince of the World.” The term is derived from the Greek
word “angelos
”, which means messenger. In Muslim, Christian and Jewish religions, the word angel denotes a being who acts as messengers and agents of God. They are beings of pure spirituality. They are also believed to be spiritual beings superior to humans in all forms, have a more intimate relationship with God and are an epitome of love and holiness.  They are also believed to be created with only one purpose, and that is to love and serve without any condition, thus upholding God’s laws and commands. In Christian theology, an angel is believed to be a member of the lowest choir among the twelve angelic orders, which comes directly after the Archangels. They are also considered as guardian angels that are constantly present and accompany their charges, influencing them and moving them to the greater good. Some of them can come from the different angelic orders, having each of their own function or specialization. Their primary duty is to protect humanity and the world and guardians of the human soul. Although they are ranked as the lowest in the angelic hierarchy, they are still part of the heavenly host and thus possess God-like attributes. Numerous in numbers, chief among them are Adnachiel/Advachiel, Phaleg, Raphael, Gabriel and Chayyliel.
