St. Paul the real establisher of Chyristainity-2
Under a certain hallucinate experience he joined the followers of Jesus. He began to preach and spread the new faith with a new theology designed to furnish a biblical foundation for the faith. He preached his new faith zealously against his older faith.
His faith, at the point of the vision, was the centre of his life. One day he saw the messiah with a heavy cross coming to him. The sight of the messiah carrying a heavy cross upon his bleeding shoulders was enough to make Paul think that he was carrying the sins of the entire humanity. He had found a new meaning to the death of Christ!
What happened in Paul was a revolution, a transformation rather than a mere conversion. The vision made him an apostle. His faith was Christ centered. The old Theo-centered faith became a Christ-centered one. For Paul the Messiah is the son of God. His death and resurrection were Paul’s main concern.
The original psychic experience gave Paul a romantic certainty about his new faith. It had the power of a revolution. Truth seemed to have confronted his mind completely. It appeared to drive him and all he had to do was simply listen. He felt that god had already descended upon him.
