The other day I read in the newspaper the story of some stray dogs who saved a child buried alive.
The story happened in Patna, the capital of Bihar, a poor state of India. There are so many mothers who cannot afford to bring up their daughters. A poor, emaciated mother buried a child near a bush without anyone noticing the same. She quickly went off.
Some stray street dogs sensed something. They went to the mound and slowly removed the mud. There was a little girl crying. The bystanders quickly rescued her and put her in a house for the poor.
How did the dogs sensed life? Far away?
Do they have a sixth sense that can detect human life even if when it is buried?
Definitely dogs are man’s best friend.
