The 14-chapter-book introduces computer graphics starting from basic principles through techniques of the field to substantial graphics applications. The reader should be at least one-semester of experience in C, C++, or Java. The experience of using struct's in C or classes in C++ would be beneficial. A reader with experience of C only will need to grasp the basics of object-oriented programming. The book uses Open GL of Silicon Graphics, Inc. as graphics application programming interface and emphasizes on 3D computer graphics. The book has been grown from the notes given at the University of Massachusetts for the last 19 years.
