Is there any truth in astrology?
The timing of the sun’s journey among the constellations as seen by an earth bound observer is one month behind what it was 2000 years ago when the astrology charts and tables were drawn up. Thus astrology would cast a person born in late June or early July as a cancer (highly sensitive, moody, and reserved). Actually the sun is in the constellation Gemini at that time which would make the person communicative, witty and chatty. What a contradiction!
Te work of Copernicus, Galileo and Kepler has clearly demonstrated that the earth is no the centre of the universe . It is also known now that the stars that appears to be in a constellation are not really bound to be in a group. Some of them may be deep in space while others may be relatively near. Thus the zodiacal properties of the various constellations are purely imaginary.
The planets Neptune Uranus and Pluto were unknown to the early astronomers as they were not discovered until the invention of the telescope. How then were their influences charted in the astrological charts drawn up centuries earlier?
