There are still some people who believe that nuclear power must be used to generate electricity after 20 years from that terrible accident which occured in Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Soviet Union. An experiment which made in one of the two RBMK reactors of the power plant in low power caused to the deaths of 40-50 power plant and ES workers. At the time of the accident, expansive radiation waves caused to a large-scale pollution. The callings of the European Union about the area of safety has pointed existent power plants to take steps. Furthermore, a power plant in Lithuania will close in 2009. Nevermore, this power plant in Lithuania and three power plants in Russia still use the RBMK reactors after some repairs about design faults for Chernobyl, even though the situation looks like this. This situation indicates that the nuclear power is still issue of the day at a time that everybody has begun to major in the subjects about changes in climates, booming energy prices and environment problems.
Some countries have taken immediate actions about nuclear power plants. Finland will put in commission a new European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) which builds in Olkiluoto by Areva, French government company and Siemens, German company in 2009. Three USA companies have declared that they plan on obtaining permission to build two "advanced passive" AP-100 power plants when French,

Taiwan and China build and plan on building new power plants.
Nuclear power is used in some type of crafts in marine, too. Especially it is thought that it is a good power for some crafts which must gather way in the seas without refuelling or for impulse system of some forcible submarines. There is a possibility that nuclear maritime impulse system  can be used more commonly because of circumscriptions on fossile fuels at transportation in the future. Nowadays there are remarkable anxieties about the emissions of greenhouse gas which grows out of the fossile fuels. Having a good security record of crafts which have nuclear impulse systems at international air and maritime transport causes the attentions  to major in the nuclear maritime impulse systems.
