A Massachusetts observatory has unveiled a powerful new telescope designed to capture possible light signalstransmitted to Earth by extra-terrestrials. The telescope is the first to be developed solely to search the skies for light pulses from aliens and will be able to cover 100,000 times the amount of sky covered by current equipment. Bruce Betts, director at The Planetary Society in California, said sending laser signals would be very logical for an extra terrestrials to reach out, but now, we have been ill equipped to receive such signals.
