Yoga synchronizes the entire functions of our body and mind. How can we get optimum results through “Yoga”? Positive mind with will. We need to search our soul so closely that 80% of our inner strength remains unutilized.
There are numerous ways to improve physical and mental health. Yoga offers lots of benefits since it helps synchronise the activities of body and mind. Studies show that 40 to 50% of the people in the age group suffer from “stress” “Yoga Nidra” is the best way to keep our self free from worries and live a happy life.
Let’s examine how “Yoga Nidra” (Sleep with relaxation).
In general, as soon as we close our eyes numerous negative thoughts perturb our mind.
To prevent this phenomenon, we need to transform our mind. As our minds were continuously loaded with negative thoughts, it takes lot of time to change our mindset. If we endeavour to follow “auto suggestions” for getting positive thoughts in our mind.
For example, if a student wants to write examination, he needs study with positive frame of mind. If he studies well but doesn’t have confidence, he can’t remember what he studied. As the mind is overloaded with negative thoughts, his performance in the examination may not be up to the mark. Conversely, if the student studies well with confidence,

Take three deep “breathes” in a relaxed way
Mentally say yourself “Relax” several times till your mind actually gets relaxed truly.
Having satisfied yourself that you’re completely out of “vicious cycle of negative thoughts”
Now, it’s time to close your eyes slowly. Following steps need to be followed:
a) Count No.1 mentally and try to close your eyes
b) Count No.
2 and mentally relax and ensure that negative feelings are thrashed away
c) Count No.3 and close your eyes completely and take deep breathes getly.
d) Every single breathe generate optimum energy in your body.
Now you are in search of your own “soul” , and start relaxing each every part of your body.
Concentrate on your toes and say “Relax”. Visualise mentally that your toes are completely relaxed. Your toes are purified. Then your feat are getting relaxed. Go upwards and relax your knee. Now, entire lower part of the body is completely relaxed. Ensure mentally that you’re the “happiest” person in the world. Recall as many happy occasions as possible in your life. When negative thoughts come in your mind, gently say “Stop it”.
In this way, you get your entire body relaxed. From the above it can be clear that you are combining uniting body and mind progressively.
Similarly, relax your stomach, chest, neck, back, eyes, ears, chin, forehead finally head. So, your entire body is getting relaxed. You are in the world “positive” energy.
Image yourself that a white light is entering your head. From the head this light spreads to your forehead, face, neck, stomach, knees, and toes.
You’ re feeling “great” You have got unique strength by realizing your own potential.
