1.I have found out that genes determine the sex of a person. It was held that the sex of an individual is decided randomly
on the basis of the combination of XX and XY chromosomes. but actually it is predetermined. genes govern the combinations. children are born in the same pattern as one of their parents were born.It depends on the
dominant gene. if the father's pattern is dominant, the sex of the children born is in the same pattern as that of the father.
To prove my theory Im currently doing a study.
eg. father's siblings in order of birth, ( i.e. eldest to youngest) xy xx xy
mother's siblings in order of birth xx xx xy
if the father's pattern is dominant, then
the children will be born as xy xx xy
2.Further, any abnormalities are inherited in the same pattern.
for example if the father's sister ( i.e the 2nd child) was weak mentally then in the children the second child, a daughter will be weak mentally.
3.This gene that governs the sex of the children is placed on one of the autosomes.
I can say this because it cant be present on the y
chromosome as it is present only in boys. it is also not present on the X chromosome as boys do not inherit the father's x chromosome.
