SENSOR AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION
WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
This paper presentation
deals with the diagnosis of a patient in a remote manner. The digital sensors are used to determine the body temperature and the pulse rate. The results from these devices are produced to a database through mobile communication channel. The database which is controlled by a super computer would match the input information and replies to the mobile user via same path. The process would be extremely effective when the network vendor posses a serene database meant for their customers.
The significance of pulse rate
A pulse is usually described in terms of its rate, which is the number of beats per minute (bpm). However, the rhythm and strength of the heartbeat can also be noted, as well as whether the blood vessel feels hard or soft. An irregular rhythm, a weak pulse, or a hard blood vessel may indicate a medical condition that needs further evaluation.
Provide clues about the function and health of the heart. In an emergency situation, the pulse rate can help determine whether the heart is pumping blood adequately.
Evaluate certain symptoms, such as an irregular or rapid heartbeat (palpitations), dizziness, fainting, chest pain, or shortness of breath.
Assess circulation in an injured extremity or in an extremity with a blocked blood vessel.
The significance of body temperature
Body temperature is a measure of the body's ability to generate and get rid of heat. The body is very good at keeping its temperature within a narrow, safe range in spite of large variations in temperatures outside the body.
Detect fever.
Detect abnormally low body temperature (hypothermia) in people who have been exposed to cold.
Detect abnormally high body temperature (hyperthermia) in people who have been exposed to heat.
Help plan for pregnancy by determining if a women is ovulating
The digital sensing equipments
Digital pulse meters are used to measure the pulse rate with precision. These meters are available in a compact form that can be tied in wrist like those of the watches.
Digital thermometers are plastic, flat, and shaped similar to a pencil, with a display window at one end and the temperature probe at the other end. It can be used in the mouth, rectum, or armpit. An electronic digital thermometer is quick, easy to use, easy to read, and accurate. However, it requires batteries. If you buy a digital thermometer, check the package for information about its accuracy.
The measurements thus done is then transferred to the database via mobile communication signals .The database terminal is equipped well for receiving
signals from the cellular device. The computer is also programmed with artificial intelligence.
The artificial intelligence
The entire data of common diseases along with its pulse rate, body temperature and remedial medical administration is fed to the computer. When the input data matches with that of the information contained, the remedial information is transferred from database to the mobile via same reply path.
This removes the manual strains encountered and taken by the people who suspect discomfort in their health condition. This technology also aids people to go for most appropriate medical supervision.
Further this technology can be implemented during the cases of mass rehabilitation works such as war, floods and other disasters where the casualties number are large with less medical people to aid. This application may turn most significant and successful as it proves helpful for voluntary teams to aid victims which doesn’t have sufficient knowledge in medicine.
