YOGA: A Universal Remedy
A successful human being is the one who has healthy

mind as
well as a healthy body.
And the definition of a healthy body is when your body,
mind, spirit and existence are in absolute harmony. The
best way to put these all in perfect harmony is to
practice
Yoga. While practicing yoga, you fine-tune yourself to
such
a point that everything functions beautifully within
you
and it leads to the flow of the best of your abilities
out
of you. Yoga not necessarily means practicing only
certain “ASANAS” in fact Yoga activates your inner
energies
in such a way that your body, mind and emotions
function at
their
Highest peak. Yoga also affects our autonomic
nervous
system which is divided into the sympathetic system
which
is further identified with the fight-or-flight
response,
and the parasympathetic, which is identified with
what's
been called the relaxation response. Yoga initiate a
process that turns the relaxation response on and fight-
or-
flight system off. These “ASANAS” lead to slow
heartbeat,
decreased respiration as well as decreased blood
pressure.
Thus, turning on healing mechanisms.
There are various “ASANAS” like “PRANAYAMA”,”JAL NEETI”
etc. While doing various “ASANAS” it is important to
learn
postures with emphasis on dynamic precision and
alignment.
There is a reason for emphasis on alignment i.e.
through
alignment one’s mind is focused on the action and
feeling
of pose and it naturally becomes more quiet and drawn
into
the moment. Gradually, concentration and stability are
developed while the physical body is revitalized and
process of looking inward begins. Yoga also teaches how
to
work with awareness to bring the outer and inner worlds
in
grater contact with each other. In all forms of Yoga
the
emphasis in on the integration of body, mind and
spirit. So
Yoga is a boon in all
respects.
